The Virginia Beekeeping Teaching Consortium (VBTA) is offering Practical Beekeeping for Beginners. The class is intensive, meets once a week for approximately two months and is designed primarily for people who want to keep bees.

Classes are open to adults and children (age 10+ accompanied by a paying adult). Instruction is limited to 15 students. Registration is first night of class with a payment of $100.

Class will be taught by experienced beekeeper and includes information on buying equipment and obtaining bees to start honeybee colonies.
